Terms of Service

By accessing or using All Second Hand (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

All Second Hand is a search engine that aggregates listings from multiple European second-hand marketplaces. We do not sell, own, or list any of the items displayed in search results. We are a discovery tool — when you click a listing, you leave our site and interact directly with the source marketplace.

You may use basic search features without an account. To save searches, receive alerts, or subscribe to a paid plan, you must create an account via Google OAuth or email magic link. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate and complete information.

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Power) are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew each month until cancelled.

• Pricing: Current prices are listed on our Plans page. Prices include VAT where applicable.
• Payment: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from your Billing page).
• Cancellation: Cancelling stops future charges at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until the period ends. No refunds are issued for partial months.
• Failed payments: Stripe will retry failed payments once per day for 3 days. If payment still fails, your subscription is downgraded to the Free tier.
• Price changes: We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price change to your current plan.

Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance. Credits are a soft currency used to track platform scan consumption — they have no monetary value and cannot be purchased separately, transferred, or redeemed for cash.

• Credits reset on the first day of each calendar month.
• Unused credits roll over to the next month, capped at one month’s allowance.
• If you exhaust your credits mid-month, scans pause until the next monthly reset. You can upgrade your plan at any time for immediate additional credits.

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools (scripts, bots, scrapers) to query our API or extract data from the Service.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass rate limits, credit gates, CAPTCHA challenges, or any other access controls.
• Use the Service to search for illegal items or to facilitate illegal activity.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits or credit allowances.
• Abuse the source marketplaces through excessive or unreasonable scanning frequency. We reserve the right to enforce minimum scan intervals per platform to protect our data sources.
• Resell, redistribute, or republish search results from the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We aggregate data from third-party marketplaces over which we have no control. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of listing information (prices, descriptions, availability, shipping costs).
• That all results from a given marketplace will appear in every search.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, All Second Hand and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We are not responsible for transactions, disputes, or issues arising from your interactions with third-party marketplaces linked from our search results.

The All Second Hand name, logo, website design, and underlying code are our intellectual property. Listing data, images, and descriptions displayed in search results belong to their respective marketplaces and sellers.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases, and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
